Information you choose to provide
When you submit a homeowner quote request, we collect the contact, date-of-birth, ZIP code, mortgage, coverage-preference, contact-time, consent, and page-source information you provide. When you submit a professional referral-network application, we collect your role, name, business contact information, company, optional website or public profile, submitted license or registration identifier and jurisdiction, primary business state and market, participation interest, attestations, and page source.
How the current forms work
The website stores submitted details in a private site database, using separate tables and authenticated, access-limited administrative inboxes for homeowner quote requests and professional applications. A submission is not automatically published or added to a public directory, and it is not automatically sent to an insurer, lender, brokerage, referral partner, or other applicant.
How information may be used
Information may be used to review and administer the request or application, contact the person who submitted it when appropriate, compare submitted professional information with public records when appropriate, maintain site security, comply with law, keep required records, and improve the service. A submitted identifier or public record does not by itself establish current authorization, verification, endorsement, or acceptance. Professional application contact authorization covers application-related contact only; it is not consent to submit consumer information or receive automated marketing.
Do not submit information about other people
The professional application must not include homeowner, borrower, applicant, client, policyholder, financial, medical, government-identification, or other sensitive personal information. A homeowner who chooses to request insurance-related follow-up should submit their own information and consent through the homeowner form.
Security and abuse prevention
Administrative access to submitted requests and applications requires authentication and an approved account. To limit automated abuse of the homeowner quote request and professional application, the site may process a network address transiently and store separate pseudonymous rate-limit keys and time windows; the raw network address is not stored in either submission database table.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and required records, by calling the number on our contact page. You may opt out of marketing communications using the instructions in a message or by contacting us.
Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to review and administer submissions, document any resulting relationship, meet legal or recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
